The Children's Mental Health Program (HUGS), responds to the complex needs of children at risk of or with social, emotional, or behavioral health concerns in Collier County. All research points to the earlier the intervention the better the outcome. This program provides care coordination to children and their families to ensure early intervention is received and families connect to the resources they need to thrive.
The Life Skills and Support Program is for adults diagnosed with a mental illness to promote life enrichment skills and provide a safe and supportive environment. Serving adults 18 years and older, including seniors and veterans, this program offers daily activities and support groups for those in need. The program also includes opportunities for supportive employment for those individuals who are ready to enter the workforce.
NAMI Signature Support Groups are peer-led and offer participants an opportunity to share their experiences and gain support from other attendees. Attending support groups can help individuals gain a sense of community, learn coping skills, feel less isolated, and access valuable information about mental health.
